Rene Licata

Rene Licata played professional football in Australia for ten years with a number clubs in the National Soccer League (pre-cursor to the A-League).  In 1982-83 Rene went on to represent Australia as a Young Socceroo, playing in World Cup Finals in Mexico.

Following his football career Rene moved into the construction industry working on numerous residential projects in Sydney and later in South East Asia including in a number in Malaysia for the royal family of Selangor and in Kuala Lumpur with Concorde Hotel group. This period time provided Rene with of broad platform of work experience especially in terms of understanding project development process and proper management accountability.

In 1998, his experience as a part owner an NSL football club, the Northern Spirit FC created another valuable experience in sport club management during period of time in Australia when the world game was starting to make traction at a full professional level.

In 2003 Rene envisioned the development of the Middleton Grange Town Centre project with new zoning approvals, design & concept which was the first of its type in NSW. This project allowed Rene to express his passion for innovative and leading edge property development.  In recent years this interest has further developed into the creation of robust, full financially viable sporting and entertainment facilities for councils & government, a goal rarely achieved both in Australia nor internationally

Rene has a strong belief that Stadimax expertise combined with the multi-use aspects of Stadiarena, where appropriate, can provide  sporting complexes with entertainment facilities vital commercial viability to achieve long term legacy.
